Guacamole Cones

By Kameal L. Anderson 6 Comments

Guacamole Cones 2Looking for a great unique recipe to serve your guests at your next gathering? Try guacamole cones. Guacamole cones are just the thing to have your guest wondering how you did it. Every party needs that “talked about” item. These guacamole cones will be the hit of any party.

The recipe is simple with not many ingredients. However, this dish is packed with flavor and nutrition. Your guest will thank you for such a delicious and healthy snack. The guacamole cones recipe we are about to share with you makes about twelve cones. Well enough talking, let’s get down to business.

Ingredients For Guacamole Cones

6 (6-inch) Whole wheat or multi-grain tortillas

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 ripe avocados

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 1/2 teaspoons of fresh squeezed lime juice. (You can use fresh lemons if you prefer)Guacamole Cones 3

1/4 teaspoon of kosher sea salt

1 tablespoon of finely chopped onions (you can use any type of onion that you prefer)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)

Dash of hot pepper sauce (optional)

2 to 3 plum tomatoes chopped (You can use a large Beef Steak Tomato)

The optional red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce depends on how hot you like you dishes. I would recommend not using them if you have a different variety of guests. Now let’s get into the steps of making your unique guacamole cones.

Step 1 – Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2 – Cut the whole wheat or multi-grain tortillas in half. Roll each half into a cone shape and secure it with a toothpick. Then brush the outside of each cone with extra virgin olive oil. Next sprinkle lightly with the cguacamole coneshili powder. Then place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 3 – Bake for 9 minutes or until the cones are lightly brown. Turn them upside down and bake another 5 minutes. You want all sides to be lightly golden brown. Then take it out of the oven and let it cool 1 to 2 minutes then remove the toothpicks. Then let the cones cool completely.

Step 4 – Cut the avocados in half then remove and discard the pits. Scoop out the avocado meat and place it in a medium bowl and mask with a fork. Mix in the lime juice, salt, onions, hot pepper sauce and pepper if desired until blended.

Step 5 – Place one tablespoon of chopped tomatoes in each tortilla cone. Then top it off with a small scoop of the guacamole paste. Then add a few additional tomatoes on top and serve immediately.

This is a dish your friends will be talking about for a long time. Make guacamole cones the hit of your next party or gathering. Enjoy!

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.

But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about
a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all
my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

I happen to be commenting to let you know what a helpful encounter my child gained reading your web site. She figured out plenty of issues, which include what it is like to have a very effective coaching style to make many others completely completely grasp several problematic topics. You undoubtedly surpassed my expectations. Thank you for producing these practical, trusted, edifying and as well as unique tips on that topic to Julie.
